Laughter is the best medicine. One time, it even got rid of my throbbing headache.
I had headache recently, so my little daughter, wanting to help, rushed off to the cupboard to get the painkillers. When she tried to open the bottle and it just clicked, I explained to her about child-proof lids. “The things inside this bottle are not good for children,” I said, “So it has a special top – an adult can come along and open it, but a child can’t.”
She thought about this for a while and then asked, “But how does it know it’s me?”
Headache = Gone
Stomachache = Incoming
