This is just a very NORMAL picture of Marble. Marble is 8-years-old now, equivalent to 84 of ours, but he’s still as prolific, cheerful, and hyperactive as ever. His curiosity does not need impetus to be aroused. Just like a newly-boomed flower, he’s always fascinated about little things in life every single day.
Here’s how his daily schedule goes:
7:00am – 7:30am Wait for the newspaper to come. He always wanted to read it first for some unknown reason. If you’re unlucky enough, today’s news will be drenched.
7:30am – 8:00am Breakfast. He likes chewable doggy sticks and milk.
8:00am – 11:00am Playtime with the neighborhood dogs Buster and Chase. Run here, run there, chaos everywhere. He sometimes hangs out with Phil the cat.
11:00am – 12:00am Watches TV with us. He loves Ellen DeGeneres.
12:00nn – 1:00pm Lunch with the family, his favorite time of the day. He gets to eat what we eat.
1:00pm – 2:00pm The Daily Siesta. You can occasionally see him running while at sleep. Dogs do dream!
3:00pm – 6:00pm Walk to the park or lake. Except Wednesdays and Sundays when he does singing lessons with my daughter. He hates frisbees and is scared of ducks, but he loves fetching tennis balls and tree branches.
6:00pm – 7:30pm Dinner. This is the time when the family gets to talk and discuss things and Marble has always been our topic.
7:30 – 9:00pm This is when he just sits down on the couch right beside me. You need to scratch his back the whole time to keep him from munching the remote.
9:00pm – 7:30am Time to sleep. Expect to get licked a lot during these times.
Marble is the life of the party indeed. Will there ever be a dull day in our world? Definitely not, as long as Marble’s there with us.
