Magic Beans

My father was always one for a bargain. One day, as he was going for his morning walk, a small bag of what he thought were fertilizer granules fell from the back of a passing truck. He kept yelling but the truck continued off down the road.

Dad, rejoicing at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get something for nothing, picked up the bag and darted for home. He raced through the house, down the back fence where his precious tomatoes grew, and speedily scattered his new-found treasure over the base of the plants.

As he began watering the, he seemed a bit puzzled as to why the granules were not dissolving. A closer inspection of the granules we found out that it was nothing more than bean bag filling.

The cat loved it by the way.
