The Adorable Young Girl And Her Newly Chosen Name

Young children have the coolest imaginations.  Recently, a Mom told me that her 4-year old daughter gave herself a new name,“Princess Mermaid Unicorn Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtle.”

As somebody who recently decided to change his own appellation after an identity exploration, I can only applaud our young heroine.

I did forget to ask if “Princess” was a title or her first name.  Is her last name hyphenated, as in “Ninja-Turtle” or is it just “Turtle”?  If it is just “Turtle”, then I wonder where “Ninja” comes from as it’s not her Mom’s maiden name.

(This story reminds The Smiles For All Team of the Friends Princess Consuela episode.)

I should have consulted Princess Mermaid Unicorn Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtle when I was deciding on my name.

That’s funny. My soon to be 4 year old daughter whose current BFFs are male, has recently developed an addiction for anything teenage ninja turtles (she refuses to add the mutant….not sure why). She told me yesterday that she was a “princess mermaid teenage ninja turtle”. I googled it so see if by chance there was a princess ninja turtle. Came upon this site. I guess young minds think alike:-)
