Fiancé Lays It Out in Advance

This plaque on a park bench in New York City’s Central Park is my favorite. As part of the Park’s fundraising effort, folks can adopt a bench and then as you can see put an engraved plaque on it.

Almost all the plaques I’ve seen express beautiful sentiments of love, remembrance, and/or gratitude.  This plaque, no exception, goes a bit further.

Central Park Bench

R.D.J is clearly a very lucky man or woman with a very considerate fiancé.

  • I pass by this all the time in the park and it always makes me smile. Wonder if my husband might be welcome to that bench too… I love it. 🙂

Casey, are you sure R.D.J. isn’t the wife-to-be and L.d’O.B the husband to be?

  • David Tee

This is a bench right? At first I thought this was a coffin. Wait that’s wrong!

    • TheBigMilkshake

LOL. Yes, a bench in the park!

    • Big Joe Joe
