The Best Tourist Attraction Ever

Tourist Attraction

February 8th, 2014– Dear Secret Diary, My favorite tourist attraction?  It’s not the Eiffel Tower.  It’s not the Empire State Building.  Nor the Grand Canyon (even though I’ve never been there).

Nor will it be the Great Wall of China or the pyramids in Egypt should I be lucky enough to see these wonders.

In fact, my favorite tourist attraction is in Niagara County, home to Niagara Falls, but it isn’t Niagara Falls.

Nope, my all-time favorite tourist attraction is the above plaque my wife and I saw on the the wall of a small hotel in Niagara County.  In my opinion, this plaque and the person who put it up are truly the 8th and 9th wonders of the world!

  • Mae

    LOL This is hilarious!!!!

    • TheBigMilkshake

Mae, I was stunned when I saw this and couldn’t stop laughing.

  • Stickman7

100% respect for that guy who took time to make this

    • TheBigMilkshake

Totally with you. The $20 admissions fee was worth it.

  • Vincy R.

That’s rather too informative, ain’t it?

    • TheBigMilkshake

I think we’re going to have to agree to disagree on this one Vincy. I think it is just about right! 🙂

  • MariCone

    “Just so you know” right?

    • TheBigMilkshake

      Indeed MariCone!

  • Popo5

That’s some very important notice y’know.

    • TheBigMilkshake

It really is Popo5, it really is!

  • Lei

Hahahaha, just for the sake of…. nothing…

    • TheBigMilkshake

      LOL

  • Ilo

    I just learned… nothing…

    • TheBigMilkshake

      But Ilo, isn’t nothing something?

      • Ilo

Yep, the most interesting part of everything is nothing.

        • ASMs

          Nothing can beat nothing.

          • TheBigMilkshake

            OMG, that’s deep!

  • AlpacaLover <3

By far the most historical plaque I’ve seen.

    • TheBigMilkshake

Describes every where I go when I’m there

  • I thought you found this at the Nothingham (Nottingham) museum.

    • TheBigMilkshake

Probably could have, and a whole bunch of other places.

  • Glass of Heart

What’s the exact date though? So that we could commemorate that day each year.

    • TheBigMilkshake

I like the way you think Glass of Heart. I think it is the whole year, meaning it must be commemorated each day.

  • Call Me Hecky

    Good to know nothing happened.

  • Happy Egg Man

One of the most remarkable part of our history lies here.

    • TheBigMilkshake

      🙂
